Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Udaipur

I am ariving in Delhi in April and wish to spend 2 nights there before travelling to Agra for a night. I thought I might head to Jaipur and Udaipur before flying to Goa for a week. Could you please advise what is the best way to get to Jaipur and then onto Udaipur. I have about 5 days to get from Agra to Udaipur and would like to see as much as possible in that short time frame. Any hotel recommendations would also be much appreciated.

Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Udaipur

According your time frame I would like to advice you below schedule for most possible to see in short time.

Day 1- Delhi (hire a car with driver till Udaipur airport for city to city drive and local sightseeing)

Day 2- Delhi

Day 3- Early morning drive for Agra and explore the Taj Mahal and afternoon drive for Jaipur, overnight at Jaipur

Day 4- Jaipur

Day 5- Drive for Udaipur on rout visit the Pushkar, overnight at Udaipur

Day 6- Udaipur

Day 7- Udaipur to Goa (via Mumbai) it is the best possible way to cover your choice full destinations in shortest period, about hotel it will be depend on your budget (three to five star, what ever your choice) have a nice trip to incredible India!!

Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Udaipur

I would not drive Delhi-Agra -Jaipur in a single day as this is 10 hours on the road. You says 5 days after Agra? If so total 8 days as foll -

1 - Delhi

2 - Delhi

3 - Delhi to Agra driving or morning train

4 - Agra to Jaipur driving via Sikri

5 - Jaipur. Evening train to Jodhpur

6 - Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur

7 - Udaipur

8 - Depart

What budget do you have for hotels? No point asking for recommendations without giving your budget.

If you have only 5-6 days, then one possibility is the following:

Day 1: Delhi

Day 2: Drive/train Delhi-Agra, sightseeing, overnight Agra

Day 3: Drive Agra-Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Day 4: Jaipur sightseeing

Day 5: Fly Jaipur-Udaipur, Udaipur sightseeing

Day 6: Fly Udaipur-Delhi-Goa
