Can anyone tell me what to expect in Jaipur during Diwali? I will be in Jaipur the 16th and 17th of October and would love to know how to best experience this holiday. Any helpful hints would be appreciated...

The bazaars are alive during the day so walk around in Kishanpole, Chandpole, Tripolia, Johari Bazaar and the two Chaupars
17th evening try and attend the pooja ceremony at a friends place and watch them light the fireworks. Later a drive in old city to view the light swil be great

City immersed in lights, joyously crowded markets, bonhomie all around and perfect weather for Jaipur visit.
Though prolonged firework till wee hours in the morning may disrupt your sleep, but what%26#39;s one night sleep, for such a big festival....
