update on sea defence works please

Hi

As of lunchtime today the sea defence work is still in full swing with works from the shacks near to the light house up to the Volga restaurant being involved.

There is still room to use the beach to swim and sunbathe but obviously some noise from lorries and occasionally the JCB but mostly manual work in progress with building of stone walls etc, which I personally find fascinating to watch.

The Hawah beach end of Lighthouse beach is unaffected by the works along with Hawah beach itself so there is plenty of beach area to use.

The beach is noticeably quieter this week with less tourists than of late and the seasonal black sands are dominating the beach.

The temperatures also are noticeably higher than of late through the day and nights cooler.
