we want to shoot for song sequence with no lights and major unit in snowy areas. Just the hero and heroine romancing like in those old hindi movies. We thought kullu manali might be a good place. I liked dharmshala too. Would like to know about these places. Specifically if it will have snow in Nov beginning or end october.

Snow wont be available in these places for the time you are mentioning but only around Rohtang Pass, 51 km from Manali. It is again a touristy place. Why not wait till January and you can shoot all the snow in Manali town.
