I am transiting through Chennai from Columbo to London, changing from Sri Lankan to BA (Business Class). I arrive at 20.00 and leave the following morning at 05.25. Anyone know if I can stay in BA lounge overnight? Any alternatives?

Hi
I am not sure if i read you right. Are you flying the Colombo Chennai sector on a Srilankan and the Chennai London sector on a BA ?
If so, then you will possibly have a through check in to London at Colombo. You will possibly be given a transit status at Chennai where you will be taken through a seperate transit corridor (after minimal immigration forms if any) to the departure lounge (where the business lounges are located) when you arrive into Chennai.
The Business lounge is a common one for a few combined airlines at Chennai and i am sure you will be able to while away your time at the lounge.

Thanks for quick response
I flew out LGW to Kovai a couple of years ago and used the Chennai business lounge on the way home. As already stated, it%26#39;s shared. It%26#39;s not large, but it had food, drink, toilets, newspapers and some comfy chairs. Just oposite was a ';last chance'; gift shop. Just down the corridor was final checks and onto the plane.
Now flying in and switching staright to internal was an experience - first time in India and the ';business lounge'; was a sectioned off bit of the cafeteria with two pots - one curry, one rice - being warmed by tea candles and some of the worst coffee I%26#39;ve ever tasted.
Food in the international business lounge was restricted, but nice
