How to get to Bandhavgarh from Chennai

Dear fellow travelers,

I will have seven wonderful days on holiday after attending a workshop in Chennai and decided I should go see some tigers! It seems that people have had great experiences in Bandhavgarh....would you kindly advise me on the most expeditious route to the park from Chennai? Willing to take train or plane....also, could you recommend a good tour driver?

How to get to Bandhavgarh from Chennai

It will take a day to get to Bandhavgarh. I think you will need to fly Chennai - Mumbai - Nagpur, and from there it is a 5 hour drive.

How to get to Bandhavgarh from Chennai

Or maybe it is better to fly to Jabalpur, also via Mumbai. Jabalpur is 190 kms from Bandhavgarh, that would be 4 hours or so.
