Goa-Candolim

Just back and overall we really enjoyed our stay. WE ARE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR.

Some small issues that need to be brought to everyone%26#39;s attention tho!

1.Russians are a big problem, especially at airports etc barging in and not waiting their turn, plus threats of voilence and hand gestures, only spoken in Russian (of course) gutless people. The security are a waste of space.

2. Currency. We got about 71RS to the £. We could manage on £25 per day for two and eat well. Just have to shop about.

3. Seen a few snakes about (vipers) plus mongoose on the beaches.

4. Ave Marie 1 was very basic (and I mean basic) landlady was ok, but never went out of her way to help much although she cooked fabulous meals (Goan style) We wont be going there next year.

The MRS and I really enjoyed it, the food, people, weather and cost which suited us.

As I said, it was only the Russian arrogance that spoilt it, even the Goans hate them. Safety in numbers!!!!

Goa is deffinately the place for us for the next few years.
