we are going for 1 month in november, what is better start from nepal for a week or first visiting india and nepal last week,we starting from delhi
first time to india and nepal
I assume you fly to Delhi and then back from there ?
November is getting late for trekking - so it would be better to do the trek first, you cannot be totally sure how long it will take.
Then 2 or 3 days going to KTM and the cities around.
Which trek will you do ?
first time to india and nepal
November is perfect time for India visit, from Delhi you can travel to Agra and then to Rajasthan via Bharatput to see bird centuary. then to jaipur-Ranthambore(For tiger) -Pushkar( if you can fit Camel fair at Pushkar ';29Oct-until 2nd Nov.'; this visit can be special for you. and futher to jodhpur and to Udaipur via Ranakpur temple.
Or other way around.
Fly to Udaipur(Rajasthan) and drive via Ranakpur to Jodhpur, to osian(small desert oasis)further to Jaisalmer, jaisalmer to Jaipur(over night train). Jaipur to Ajmer(Pushkar)train or road both available.
*Pushkar is only 12km out of Ajmer*

Hi Ashley,
Coincidentally, my b/f and I are currently planning our first trip to India for this October, and we were hoping to do a similar (yet somewhat shorter :( ) itinerary.
We are thinking of landing in Delhi, doing India first, and then spending our remaining time in Nepal. Perhaps your choice will be made like ours -- based purely on logistics: if you%26#39;re in Kathmandu last, you%26#39;ll need to fly via Delhi to get home to Canada anyway, so perhaps you choose based on whether you want to do a little extra hop at the beginning or the end of your trip (Montreal-Delhi-Kathmandu or Kathmandu-Delhi-Montreal)...
For us, we%26#39;re thinking of doing that hop at the end.
In general, I think it would be better to do India before Nepal. Indian travel can be quite hectic with a lot of sightseeing and inter-city travel. Nepal throbs to a quieter beat and is more relaxing for the mind...therefore doing it at the end of the trip means you will be more relaxed before going back home.
