Hi,
not sure if this place is open for business yet - anyone know anything about it or the area?

Forsyth's Satpura Lodge
Hi Pauline
I%26#39;m one of the partners in this project. We have had some very early (pre-opening) visitors who have promised to post reviews on Trip Advisor. So hopefully we will know soon enough what the feedback is. As for the Satpura Tiger Reserve it is quite stunning. We are putting together a picture gallery for our website so you will be able to see more in due course.

Forsyth's Satpura Lodge
Hi Pauline,
I have just returned from a 10-day stint at Forsyth Lodge along with 3 friends. The Lodge will I believe be open fully by next season, October 2009. It is well worth including in an itinerary. The Lodge itself is tastefully and traditionally furnished and the service and food - superlative. I have visited most Lodges in MP so speak with some experience.
The park is stunning and offers so much especially with the huge river skirting the boundary of the park. We walked, tracked by elephant, went boating down the river to see wonderful sunsets and a fabulous array of birds and wildlife including the marsh mugger cocodiles. This was all in addition to the Jeep drives through the forest. We saw the elusive Sloth Bear on several occasions - this is prime habitat for them. The guides were very helpful and well-trained which made for a most fantastic time for us all.
Hashim Tyabji does everything in style. He is one of the most vociferous advocates of %26#39;Responsible Tourism%26#39;. Most people talk about it, Hashim puts it in practice. You will enjoy Forsyth%26#39;s Lodge.
Cheers.
