we are thinking of returning back to Goa next march/April of next year2010, is any one going there this year and making there own way, who did you use for flights ect ,we would prefer to fly from manchester

I flew with Kingfisher from Heathrow. If you fly from Manchester I think you are limited to charter flights.

Dont touch Srilankaairlines after the trouble that they have caused to many people this season by cancelling all flights out of Goa as from the end of March and offering a 32 hour journey home to UK as an alternative.Pity as before their service was superb.

I%26#39;ve also booked through Travel Republic flying with Thomas Cook from Manchester at the end of December.

Finnair fly from Manchester to Mumbai.We flew with them twice in the last few months and each trip cost us £311 per person. From Mumbai to Goa a return flight was about £70 each.

Did you book with Kingfisher direct/online or through an agent? If so, which one? Thinking of returning to Goa for 12th time next January and prefer flying from H%26#39;row instead of a charter from Gatwick. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Is the Kingfisher flight direct or does it go via Mumbai?

Booked Kingfisher via Southall Travel.

NO flights go direct to Goa other than charter flights. You always have to go via somewhere else like Mumbai or Bangalore (Kingfisher go via both of these).
