Hi all, just returned from my second time in goa. I used a taxi driver called john. he is based at the riverside regency in baga but will pick up from anywhere. He gave us a very good service while in goa this time. He is a driving instuctor in monsoon season so knows the roads well. below are his contact details.

hi there, Yes, he did say it was a very challenging job, lol. Like most of the taxi drivers, if you say that you will give them your business for your whole stay then you will get better rates. The rates below relate to us giving john our business for whole stay.

Baga-Calangute 100rps

Calangute-Candolim 100 rps

Calangute-Mandrem 600rps return

Calangute-Panjim 500rps return

Calangute-palolem 2000rps return (overnight)

In Panjim john took us around the shops and also too the river cruise and waited to take us back to the hotel(7 hour trip).

Most other drivers quoted between 2400-3000 rps for palolem return. John will look after you.
