Hi,we stayed at Chattai in December and the huts are good but definitely more expensive than others of the same quality.I did a post on it but am rubbish at doing the %26#39;bump%26#39; thing lol. Anyway as i posted last time Chattai are good ,the food is good and the service is good but they are a bit formal and not as laid back as we would have liked, plus they don%26#39;t have any sea facing huts if that is what you want. My advice is to arrive in Agonda and stroll along the beach until you see huts you fancy and then book in. For example we found a fantastic place about halfway along the beach called Sandy Feet where we ate twice, the food was superb and they had great huts and a very welcoming ambient atmosphere,we will definitely stay there next time, hope that helps.

Hi... we stayed in Agonda. fantastic !! we were 1st timers. ok for your birthday I would stay at Blue Lagoon. www.Bluelagoongoa.com location is great..very romantic. we paid 1000, but again varies.. we stayed Valentines night.

As for huts. Chattai look nice, I ate there. but totally agree, walk along beach, there are lots of lovely ones. The ones on the net tend to be more expensive. Sandy feet, agree look nice. Shanti I have photos of, very lovely! I have their number and e mail. more expensive but well worth it, and have a couple with a 1st floor loung area to watch the sunset and relax. even for a night a or 2.. then move some where cheaper. (it was still only about 1500 a night!)

also better to look for yourself when u get there and see what negotiation you can do.. prices vary so much depending how busy they are.

I have lots of photos!

regards. Karen

Hi just returned fom agonda

we stopped at madhus huts next door to sandy feet,

madhu got excellent restaurant and huts actually on beach, also look out for hatching turtles there was one nest laid when we were there due to hatch in a couple wks time, we were fortunate and saw 23 baby turtles head out along sand to big ocean, hope they made it :}.
