any nice hotel near old delhi railway staition only for 1 night stay because afternoon I have to catch my train to ram nagar.

In old delhi only few hotel available , Hotel Savitri Inn ,Hotel prag international, Hotel Tara Palace , Hotel Raghani , but I recommend Hotel Tara Palace because very clean and suitable for Western Style

Have you been in Hotel Tara Palace before, because maximum reviewers says it is located in the busy market alley. At the night time is it safe for alone women.

Yes I have already stayed in this hotel in september, dont worry Hotel located in the alley but it is totally safe for women after your regular precautions .

If I were you I would stay at the Ginger Hotel near New Delhi Railway Station. NDLS is connected to the Old Delhi Railway Station by the metro and the journey duration is less than 7 minutes away.

Is it comfortable and safe in metro with 3 suitcases total weigh around 65 kg .

With 3 suitacses weighing about 65 Kgs Metro will be a tough journey... for much of the time you%26#39;ll have to carry your luggage on your own i.e. no porters.

Staying at Ginger at New Delhi Rly Station is a good idea, it%26#39;s not too far from Old Delhi railway Station. An auto from Ginger to Old Delhi Railway Station should cost you around Rs. 50/-

Another option is Hotel Broadway at Asaf Ali Road, but again you%26#39;ll have take an Auto only.

Hotels near old Delhi railway station are not recommended for safety and hygiene reasons.

No I haven%26#39;t stayed at Broadway, I suggested because it is little nearer to Old Delhi Railway Station and is better than the hotels at Old Delhi Railway Station.

Ginger at Ajmeri Gate side of New Delhi Railway Station will be a nice choice. From here you can get an auto to Old Delhi Railway Station which will take some 20-25 minutes in normal traffic.

There you can hire porters for carrying your luggage, so your suitcases will also pose no problem.
