Two days in enough for Pushkar fair but last two days are most charming so you should prefer to stay last two days of fair, because last today will be full of local cultural programs, local people and cattle also.

If youre going as a tourist, one or max two nights is enough. Remember its busy and noisy during the fair time so dont expect your beauty sleep. If youre a photographer, 3 days wont be enough either.

I am not a tout, travel agent, or have any self interest in these postings . . just want anyone who is thinking of going to the fair to have some down home honest first hand input! It is a wonderful and colorful event . . and should not be missed if one is in India about that time of the year.
