Accomodation options for Bundi and Chittor

I was thinking of spending 2 nights in Bundi on our July/August trip. However, the reviews of hotels in Bundi are not very enticing and none of them have swimming pools.

Are there any options in this area with a swimming pool which would allow us to visit Bundi and then cary on to Pushkar.

Alternatively, can anyone recommend somewhere in Bundi. There are only 4 properties reviewed on tripadvisor and one of those seems to be full of spam and another only has one review.

Bundi is a great destination to be in. The fort is beautiful %26amp; so are the cenotaphs of the kings. Ask your guide to explain the small diffrences in the construction, these will help you in forming a picture of the life %26amp; times of those princes!

Braj Bhushan Haveli is a great property. The super deluxe rooms have good views. The vegetarian food is excellant. The owner is a charming gentleman, who will enlighten you on history of Bundi, for his ancestors were the prime ministers to the valiant Hara princes, 06 of whome lay, in the battle of Fatehabad, all but one in death...and more recently, a Victoria Cross, when Hitler started on his land grabbing exercise!!

Another good place for an overnight would be the luxury AC tents on the Jait Sagar Lake - Umaid Bagh Resorts.

Hadoti Palace I am told is fine property %26amp; has a swimming pool, as well.

Bundi is a gem, one of Rajasthan%26#39;s best kept secrets but the hotels are not up to scratch. There has been talk for years - 15 plus years - of a development in and around the Lake but as yet nothing has come of it. No pool (if you want to swim go to Goa) but simply the best hotel for miles, down in Kota, only 25 mins south, the Brij Raj. Old fashioned comforts, stylish and food out of your dreams. You will never want to eat in an Indian restaurant in Britain again after you have had dinner here...

Hi Tim, at Pushkar you can try at The Pushkar Bagh, its a very nice resort with very large swimming pool and delicious food. you can choose bitween luxury cottage and Tent Cottage.

Looks to me as if sharpeyes is another spammer. Two posts, both recommending a place in Pushkar, in this case as a convenient place to stay for Bundi!!!
