Does anyone have the web address / contact info for smiles dentist in Calangute.. seen good reviews but now cant find the them on line... also can anyone tell me what the humidity is like at that moment and at what point (%) it becomes a nightmare...

Bruhays daily post says that humidity was not too bad today!

I guess that when your on holiday, it doesn%26#39;t really become a ';nightmare';...you can always chill in the pool or cool down in an air con bar with a long, cool drink...

When you have to work in it, then it becomes a nightmare...IMHO!

susieque123 you are a star.... thnaks for the fast responce, Do you know what point in % that you feel uncomfortable, Went to mexico last October and perspiration was running down my back of a night it was so hot and stuffy. Lookin on bbc weather Thursdays Hum: 53% ';would that be ok';

Sorry Rob but i%26#39;m of the opinion that it can NEVER be TOO hot!...

my hubby doesn%26#39;t like the humidity,but as long as we have air con or a fan in the room, and he can get a good night sleep, then he usually doesn%26#39;t mind too much!

Hi Rob, last tuesday in Panjim the temperature was 37.2 degrees with 98% humidity phew! it was so hot but its calmed its self down now.

How can I describe it.....Sweating like a Scouser in Dixons!

It was so humid last March / April the ceiling fan was on all night, everynight! Just remembered that quite often there was a power cut in the middle of the night and the fan stopped. Within minutes the temp/humidity has risen greatly. When the power came back on, the fan would rotate twice as fast as normal!! Wow...it was almost getting ready for take-off.

I remember lying on the beach one day on the sunbed, sweating! I wasn%26#39;t doing anything except sunbathing.

From what I%26#39;ve heard its even worse this year!!! But hey...don%26#39;t worry about it, have a swim, a drink or a shower.

For two of the four weeks I was there the humidity was very hard to bare, even the locals found it hot. They reckoned that they were already getting aprils weather and that was the end of february.

do you know if the air con would stop through the night aswell if there was a power cut, is this fairly normal and right the way the across the whole of Goa, or do some hotels have generators?

Haha, if the MD had one, they didnt switch it on!

Bloody hell it got hot once that fan and a/c switch off.

OOOoo how I look forward to that in a few weeks again. Really I am...I hate the cold!

Me too Ian, i would sleep through it all as long as it wasn%26#39;t cold....in fact in Florida I hated the fact that everywhere was over airconned!..
