any bargain package holidays for december
many thanks for speedy reply.. just checked the thread out.. what a difference in cost.. thanks ever so much! may even see you there December : )
Try Jewel in the Crown, cheapest I could find, going end Nov just under £600.
HI we went this christmas just gone, and paid just over £400 each for 14 days B%26amp;B, didn%26#39;t book till about end oct, so might be worth trying to get a late deal, and the time befor ethis we went out on the 6th dec for two weeks B%26amp;B at the mira hotel, and that was only £268 each I always seem to get he bargans, late deals each time,
I think your probably right and late deals are the better option, We went into thomas cook yesterday price 2 weeks at Highland beach B%26amp;B 2 adults and 1 child £3436!!! going 16th december : (
Thats a bloody ridiculous price ! Sereta
The cheapest package we could find leaving 17th Dec for 2 weeks was around £1200 B%26amp;B.
So the price you%26#39;ve been quoted is unfortunatley the going rate at the moment....
I know it%26#39;s crazy.. I cant seem to understand why the pries have increased so much.
Just had a quote for the 3 of us to Florida £2100 leaving 22nd Dec... not my ideal choice, but significantly cheaper that what we%26#39;ve been quoted for Goa.. £1500 cheaper!!!
Hopefully get a last min deal at a more realistic price, later in the year...
Alimalone, we always go long haul at Christmas, always booking late, and have never paid more than £600, per person, for 2 weeks!
I think that the dates you are looking at (22nd) are the most expensive of the whole year.
If you can go a little earlier and fly back just before New year, or leave your departure date until just after New year, then the prices will reduce dramatically...IMHO
depends how flexible you are???

Christmas school holidays is the most expensive time of the year to travel anywhere. We go to Florida often and this year have been quoted £1750 for the 4 of us for flights so that is good IMO. have looked at Goa and flights may be more expensive but its a hell of a lot cheaper when you get there!
