how long does it take to reach manali from chandigarh. what is the best means of transport. do they have luxury bus/mini bus- how much does it cost

By bus it should take you around 9 hours,if you can hire a car it would be faster.Haryana Roadways and Himanchal Roadways have good buses.Not sure about the cost but I guess should be around INR 200 to 300.

From Chadigarh to Manali, travel time is 9-10 hours.
Both Himachal Rodaways Tpt. Corp (HPTC) as well as HP tourism dev Corp (HPTDC) run deluxe buses from Chandigarh to Manali.
