domestic airlines

Having received advice earlier today to fly from Mumbai to Jaipur and then from Delhi back to Mumbai, am wondering if there are certain domestic airlines I should be looking at and avoiding others.

Advice?

If you look at the MakeMyTrip.com website (even if you do not book with them), flights with ratings for some will be listed for the particular route.

Please avoid Go Air at all costs. Jet Airways and Kingfisher are rated the best domestic airlines. They are as good as some of the best international ones.

I have not travelled the Air India / Indian Airlines flights after the merger. Indian Airlines is not too bad, but Air India on-time performance stinks. I think you need to find out whether the particular flight is an original Indian Airlines or Air India one. Perhaps the clue is in the flight number : IC - formerly Indian Airlines and AI - formerly Air India.

Among the budget airlines I fly SpiceJet and JetLite but usually avoid the others.

Kingfisher is India%26#39;s only 5 star rated airlines, it%26#39;s top class. Jet Airways comes a close second.

As pointed out in last post also Spicejet is the best in budget airlines.
