Nizmar

Been travelling to Goa now for the last five years. Always stayed at the Hotel Horizon. We fly out from East Mid on 31st Jan and stopping at the Nizmar this time. I%26#39;ve read most of the posts on here about the Nizmar and they all seem fair. What I would like to know is are there any superior rooms, and can you upgrade to these rooms on arrival.

I think if you speak to your tour operator they will be able to upgrade you. We stopped in a superior room 2 years ago they are very nice indeed. It is a good hotel

I stayed in the South recently and went to the North for the day and was going to book into this hotel for the night.

I asked to see a standard room - it really was horrible, with stained walls and very tatty funrniture. Needless to say we did not stay there.

Can%26#39;t talk about a superior room, if they have any, but I was most surprised at the state of the room they showed me.

Well worth booking a superior room..

We have stayed at the Nizmar twice and would highly recommend it...

Zacko... we just got back from the Nizmar last night, we had room 113 and it was big enough and most importantly it faced the pool and was on the top floor and sun was on the balcony all day. A really nice hotel all the staff are great and Socoro behind the bar is ace.. The rooms are clean and tidy if not in need of a little bit of TLC.... Plenty of places to eat would recommend Solumins kitchen as the best place ive eaten in a long time....

It was our first time in Goa and was a bit of a culture shock at first but we warmed to the place and the people and would probally go back...

All in a good time was had by all and my word it is ';cheap as chips';

sounds like you had a good time...are you going to post a trip report? I really enjoy reading them, especially from a Goan virgin...we are going (for the first time) in 1 week!
