Problems getting to and from Agra!

Hi,

Can anyone help with advice on costs of a car with driver to get me from Gwalior to Agra on a Saturday morning and also how I would arrange it? Tourist office or through hotel? Also, the same question for getting from Agra to Jaipur on the day after (Sunday) stopping for 1.5 hours at Fatephur Sikri. Unfortunately there are no train seats left on the days I want to travel. Do hotels charge over the odds, or are their prices reasonable?

There are so many trains from Gwalior to Agra that I am surprised at your statement. Listed below are only those trains (from a very long list) that run DAILY from Gwalior to Agra Cantonment.

If youre planning to travel Delhi-Agra-Jaipur and take a train or flight from Jaipur, you could hire a car from Jaipur at the same cost. Try any of the members of Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators at this website - www.ratorajasthan.org

Going a little further - if you post your itinerary here, we can help sequence it. It looks like you%26#39;re starting out with some nights in Delhi. Are you doing Delhi - Gwalior - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi? Is it all in one sequence with a day or two spent in each place? Are you flying Delhi - Gwalior?
