Strike at Manchester Airport - Easter 2009?Oh Iain, I do hope it doesn%26#39;t happen.
Strike at Manchester Airport - Easter 2009?Fingers crossed they don%26#39;t vote for it, or if they do it is sorted by Easter for you!!
Oh no,
i hope your wrong we fly Bank holiday monday.
I wouldn%26#39;t worry to much about the threat of industrial acton as it all depends on what company and which department are threatening it. At Manchester Airport there are a number of baggage handling companies, so it might not be the one handling your flight, if it is, things will get sorted before industrial action is taken as easter is a major time for the various companies based at the airport, also the flight companies will want it sorting aswell as the airport authority itself.
Ian,
Maybe the ticket issuing people are already on strike!!! lol...
Only joking, I know your tickets will be here very soon, and I%26#39;m sure that things will get sorted at the airports before they take strike action...
I have my fingers crossed for you , on both accounts!

Susie...you could be right! Just maybe my tickets are held up due to strike action.
Fingers, toes, legs and arms all crossed and waiting!
I hope they can resolve all the problems at Manchester airport as surely even if they aren%26#39;t my baggage handlers, it will have a knock on effect?
It will all sort itself out Iain - it always does. My in-laws were travelling down from Scotland to Gatwick during the month that the fuel strike was on a few years ago and we were concerned they wouldn%26#39;t be able to get down, but it all sorted itself out in time.
Fingers, toes and everything crossed for you anyway :)
Strike!!!!!!!!
They can get stuffed.lol
