I have recently returned from a trip to India and used a company called Colourfulindianholidays (http://www.colourfulindianholidays.com/index.html ) who proved to be fantastic and great value for money. I was apprehensive about booking an Indian trip via the internet but my concerns were totally unfounded. The guy in charge Narinda Poonia was first class and he organised the tour for us exactly as we requested, even meeting up with us in Jaipur to ensure everything was okay. If you want great service at a reasonable cost check out their website and contact Narider , he wont disappoint you

Oh !! Suddenly So many recommendations for one company and everybody is speaking the same language. Either it%26#39;s too good a travel company or it%26#39;s a self promotion.

Thank you for the review - what hotels did you stay in, and what car did you use? It would be very useful for other travellers to post hotel reviews as well as any other highlights and tips. Was there anything you felt was a must-do? Did you do anything offbeat? What did you wish you hadn%26#39;t done?

An essential part of any trip is to ensure that you have a good, safe driver, especially in India. Our driver was named Mohan Kumar who drove a Toyoto Innova. He was brilliant, we never felt threatened regardless of events and these included a cow leaping from bushes in the central reservation of a motorway, he took it all in his stride.

I wouldn%26#39;t change a thing about our tour though I would be more aware of certain practices of the guides who always appear to be trying to make the extra bit of commission or ripping a few more rupees.

If you have any query contact the company - if they are as helpful to you as they were to me you can%26#39;t go wrong. Good luck!

How cynical can you get! Just because a company provides and excellent service and people appreciate such and wish to commend them for their efforts doesn%26#39;t mean that there is some underhand manipulation going on! I found this company purely by chance on an internet search, took the risk of using them and discovered a great compeny. Your comments lead me to believe that you may have a vested interest in the subject, maybe you work for a less popular company? I speak as I find and will always support deserving companies. Your suggestion that I am part of a self promoting group I find quite offensive - Suugest you try the company before you make such comments!

Did you like the hotels? I ask because they are budget hotels. Hot water? Cleanliness? Softness/hardness of beds? View?

I just saw two recommendations on the same day about a company that nobody has heard before.

Yes ! I was a little apprehensive !

But, rest assured, I do not work for any tour company.

Have you seen any post, recommending me any travel agency ? Even if I suggest something, I always give at least two, usually more choices.

All the hotels were clean, linen changed daily, lots of hot water and the service was excellent - I have been to India on numerous occasions staying at a variety of accommodation including five star hotels and some of those were worse than these hotels. I would stay at any of them again - no problems
