mangalore and around pilgrim places

Covering these places in 2 and half days is little ambitious in my opinion. Dharmasthala it self needs at least one day as it%26#39;s very busy temple. You may consider yourself lucky, if you get darshan within 3 hours.

Distance from Mangalore to Udupi is 90 kms and from udipi to to Dharamsthala is 110 kms. From Mangalore to Kollur Mookambika is 140 kms.

Since you want to keep Mangalore as your base, it is advisable to hire a taxi and do it. But, I reiterate, it%26#39;ll be too tiring for you to visit all these places even in a taxi in such a short time.

Mangalore has plenty of budget hotels. You may try Kumar International, a non AC double room will be around Rs. 800/-

There are many other low budget hotels also, they are mostly near KSRTC bus stand.
