Can anyone with some knowledge of the local area advise?
We%26#39;re looking for a bit luxurious relaxation for 6 nights at the end of our October 2009 Kerala tour.
We want:
1. To be reasonably close to some town or village that will offer a choice of restaurants in addition to the hotels restaurant.
2. To be close to a good beach
3. A luxurious room with good pool, service and hotel bar.
These are two hotels recommended. Can anyone advise which best meets our needs or suggest an alternative.

Marari Beach Resort or the Travancore Heritage
marari -yes for Q3 and Q2
Q1 -for nearest town ,it is Alleppey which is close to Marari for eat outs. Alleppey is 35- 40 from Marari by a tuc tuc
