hi, we are planning a trip shortly to Rajasthan booking through this agent. can anybody tell me if they think they are reputable and is it safe to give them my credit card details upfront for them to take the deposit and then we plan to pay them on arrival the total balance before we start our trip.thanks

Do a search on this forum first because I think I have seen the agency name come up before. Don%26#39;t remember if the reviews were good or bad. Look for it.

Some agencies do ask for full advance, but I see no reason why you should do everything they ask. Negotiate and break up that payment 40+40+20 or something like that, try to keep something in hand until you actually reach and see how the arrangements are.

thank you very much for your reply, yes, splitting up the payment is a good idea especially holding something back to the end so they keep up with everything they have promised. they are very helpful and incredibly quick to get back to us with their responses and seem to have a superb package organised for us so hope all works out well. will check other postings....

Hi, We have just come back from a Golden Triangle tour with Savion travel, have to say they were a joy to travel with. Having paid 50% of the tour cost online prior to arrival we were somewhat nervous but a representative of the agency was there to meet us at Delhi airport and we had a wonderful time. We were provided with the same driver for the whole week - who was keen to take us to any additional sites (outside of our itinerary) with the hope of receiving a slightly larger tip - which was fine as he was excellent. In addition to the incredibly attentive driver, we had a different tour guide each day which were also great. The hotels were of a very good standard and in each city a local representative from a travel agency would meet us or telephone to make sure everything was going ok. Altogether it was a fantastic experience and I wouldn%26#39;t hesitate in recommending them wholeheartedly to anyone. Great service.
