Where to go and what to do!

My bestfriend and I are off to go for 3 weeks. Could anyone suggest:

Some good tours and Trips

Nice affordable beach huts or places to stay in the south and old town.

Any advice in general

Must do%26#39;s and dont%26#39;s

All would be GRATELY appreciated!

I cant wait to go 22 days!

Hi Bragg, there are numerous trips available eg the waterfalls, crocadiles, spice plantation, when you do decide which one you want don%26#39;t book it through your rep, any taxi driver will take you for a fraction of the price. Mandrem beach and Ashvem beach are both excellent places to stay if you want beach huts, the prices are around Rs800-Rs900 per night and both are found in the north. There%26#39;s a 1001 do%26#39;s and don%26#39;ts so here%26#39;s just a few, Don%26#39;t pay the first price of asking for anything, that includes taxi%26#39;s and tuk tuk%26#39;s haggle haggle haggle, Do try the local buses to travel to Panjim or Mapusa it cost pennies(really).Don%26#39;t take expensive clothes its a very casual place(shorts, t-shirts, flip flops etc), Do try different places to eat, the foods fantastic and be adventureous, above all, Do open your mind.
