we like the look of the Marinha Dourada hotel and wondered if i could book the hotel direct, rather then book through a travel company, any ideas?
does anyone know if u can book the Marinha Dourada direct ?no you cant and even the manager said it works out cheaper if you book with operator,its our 4th time and cant wait to wake uo in the lovely surroundings,and watch the elephant walking over the bridge each morning at about 7.30am

I have to disagree you can book MD direct you can book it on the www but i must agree with above its cheaper if you book it as a package with a tour company, but have a look round Arpora there are some very good hotels round there a little bit out of the way though.

They are quoting room rates on their website but as the previous posters have said, the tour companies get a huge discount from these rates due to block booking.

We e-mailed Edwin(manager)and asked how much it would be to book direct with him and it was a thousand pounds more just for the room for 3 weeks so it is alot cheaper to do a package deal.
yes you can, we booked direct in 2007, tried for this year march an was cheaper through thomsons.
