Can anyone advise if there is building work going on at the Highland Beach at the moment

Hey, come on people, someone must have stayed there recently!

Tammccallum we last stayed there in 2005 and building work was going on right across the road from our room at the Highland.it was not a problem.It did%26#39;nt cause a problem at all.They workers all work with picks and shovels not big machinary like in this country.We were out most of the day and when we got back about 5 the workers had finished for the day.If anyone stayed there lately they will probably put a reply on for you.

Our travel company wrote to us about 6 weeks before we went to give us chance to cancel holiday but as as have said we did#nt have a problem.Hope this puts your mind as rest a bit if you going soon Barbs

We stayed in Apartments across the road from Highland Beach in Dec/January and didn%26#39;t see or hear any building work. However, it%26#39;s a vast place, so there may be some going on in a corner somewhere, but it%26#39;s not noticeable so I wouldn%26#39;t worry about it

We stayed here at Christmas in the new blocks 4019 (I think) and building work going on. Usually starts up at around 8ish but its mostly done by hand. All you hear is the workers voices. By the time you get back from the beach they are packing up. We didn%26#39;t find it a problem at all and the workers are really friendly.

As a previous post stated, the place is huge so I guess it depends where you are staying.

Just have a great time, we did.

Was there in Feb,no building work to talk about, although they are redoing a few apartments with minor work.I wish they had redone the first few apartments they offered us though.
