Do the reviews mention deluxe rooms?

To be honest I lost track of which rooms were which. When I booked and got our tickets we were allocated de luxe rooms and on arrival because of my husband (He could not get up the stairs as he had a trapped sciatic nerve)on the ground floor that was available. It was a bog standard room, not as big as some of the rooms but functional the only saving grace we must have had the best room boy in the whole hotel especially as my hubby was really unwell when we were there.

After my hubby came out of the hospital we asked if we could move closer to the pool still on the ground floor as it really wasn%26#39;t that wheelchair friendly. We moved one block closer which did help, When I asked about the rooms closest to the pool bar we were told these were the premier block and it would be an extra 2000 rupees we declined and stayed where we were. The room was lovely and much bigger. They have built a complete new block which has one of the photos on the Thomson website with the newer telly. Hope this helps. I am hoping Red68 reads this as she stayed in the new block and she can tell you more.

As sylviebabe said we had a room in the new block, flat screen tv on the wall , massive bed,one arm chair, bathroom nicely done out [ with a handy phone next to the loo !! ] dressing table , tea and coffee making facilities, fridge that is stocked, the room boy checks it daily , you are charged for each item missing, friends of ours had 3 to a room and the 3rd bed was a roll out bed on the floor. ground floor rooms have seating areas outside the rooms,

Nice hotel ,pool,food and good location the only thing you need to keep on top of is if signing for food or drink instead of paying straight away is to settle them every couple of days, make sure they clear them on their pc and keep the bills stating payed as proof ,,, they did try it on a few times with our friends,,,

We have booked next feb,, cant come quick enough.
