Children Walking Tall

Just wondering if you%26#39;re able to just turn up at Mango house or are there set visiting times/days?

Children Walking Tall

I think they prefer you to visit in the afternoons.

Hi

Weekday (Mon - Fri) afternoons between 1pm and 4pm are best (as that%26#39;s when most of the children are in. You can come in the mornings ALTHOUGH there will only be around 10 or so children as the rest are at school until 1pm (unless it%26#39;s a holiday). It%26#39;s always best to give us a call (just in case) as we do sometimes take the children out on trips, but normally we should be there.

Thanks

Rob

Thank you for replies. Will collect some bits together for the children and go and visit.

What shall I take for the children? Going this Saturday...

we visited CWT 3 weeks ago and had a wonderful afternoon there being shown around and the children are so happy.

they desperately need hair shampoo/conditioner, and any clothes age from 3 years to 14 years. please bear in mind that the children in India are smaller in stature than UK children.

any toiletries will be greatly appreciated though.

have a nice holiday, where are you staying?

regards, runtiger112

We have an been given an extra 20kgs of luggage allowance from those kind people at First Choice.

Its full of toiletries %26amp; goodies for the children....

Thanks for the info...Staying at the Ondas Do Mar hotel...first time in Goa for us, Cant wait...

I visited a couple of weeks ago with probably about 40kgs of goods for the children. They do repairs and make there own clothes. They were given a sewing machine and I took a lot of haberdashery items. I had a few zips in amongst what I had been given, I think they were a little bit big so a few children size zips might be handy. (ones that might fit the trousers). Any hygiene products are useful and always needed and the previous poster said shampoo this is the one item that they don,t get much of.

Hi we also went 2 weeks ago with abig bag courtesy first choice. They appeared most plaesed with the hygeine gear(nail brushes, soap ,shampoo etc) and plasters vitamins .We also took some good metal scissors and clothes .They did have loads of clothes but I guess they will always be used.I will back up whta was said about the experience of the visit.I was worried thatI would be upset but the kids look so happy and were so well behaved when we visited I had abig smile on my face when we left instead of cyring like I thought I would.
