can anybody give me some kind of guide as to the price of the 1 and 2 night boat trips that can be taken thanks

it depends on the tour season

for a couple , in lean season ( APRIL - MID August ) it could be INR 4000 and up , for a Non Air con houseboat

INR 5000 and above for a air - con houseboat with all meals

( might be even less if you go there and book directly )

We are looking for over night stay but are looking at more of the luxury end. I%26#39;ve found someone recommending Seasonscruises.com on trip advisor and currently negotiating prices but they are on the higher end of the market - around 10,000INR but the boat does look much better quality than some of the others.

Is that price for 1 night IT?

i assume that is the rate for a non A/C double bedroom ( for 4 pax ) Kumarakom -Alleppey backwater cruise charge for the said company

as you mentioned they are on the higher side , you can also get quotes from other top operators like rainbow cruises - www.rainbowcruises.in

and ask for quotes for similar luxury class boats and compare

NB: a little bargain will definitly bring down the rates , especially now in off season

Hi there we booked independantly with a company on Samudra beach and got a beautiful two bedroom houseboat with an upper deck where we could sit and sunbathe or just relax and we paid £250 for two nights with all meals etc. Brilliant boat!!!
