Over the Flames on the main road just as you go into Candolim, Emmas Kitchen in Holiday Street for good English when you are curried out, Souymens also on the main road further up in Candolim and The Stone House which has a great blues singer some nights.

Can highly recommend Sendras...next to Dominos..

And Rock cafe next to Plantain leaf
