Suggestions Required for Kerala Trip

Hi All,

I am planning a 9 days trip to Kerala this Sept. The places that I am aware of and want to visit are:

Cochin(i%26#39;ll be landing here), Munnar, Kodaikanal, Thekkady, Alleppey, KanyaKumari, Thiruvananthapuram (airport)

Now i need the following information:

1)if I can cover all the places mentioned above in the 9 days trip.

2)if no, then which one to remove.

3)if yes, then what should be my itinerary like.

Cochin - Munnar - Kodaikanal - Thekkady - Alleppey - KanyaKumari - Thiruvananthapuram [In this case how are the roads[good, bad, worse] between the 5 junctions.]

OR

Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Kodaikanal - Alleppey - KanyaKumari - Thiruvananthapuram

Please let me know about the feasibility of travelling to all the above mentioned places and whether there are proper roads connecting each one of it.

Thanks in advance!

Radhika

I agree that you could well omit Kodaikanal which is another hill station. Munnar - the region, not town, has much more to offer than Kodai, and you could consider spending 3 to 4 nights at Munnar as there is so very much to see and do.

As far as hotels are concerned, choose according to your budget requirements, you may find a better selection at various budget ranges at keralatourism dot org.
